Well pretty much every game reviewing magazine/show has said the Rock Band 2 is better.
very true however you have to think of the die hard fans of Guitar Hero it did come first the reason why rock band is came along in the first place was because the makers of rock band (harmonix) were originally with guitar hero games it wasn't until guitar hero screwed over (harmonix) and they ("we will not work with guitar hero ever again we will make a game 10 times better than guitar hero") so rock band came out and started a revolution was created . that's why guitar hero is now with the publishers called (bud cat) but to answer the question is i prefer guitar hero
Yes. You can play any guitar hero game (including Band Hero) with any guitar (including the Guitar Hero World tour guitar.) As long as the game and the instrument are for the same video game console.
Rock Band is by far a better game than Guitar Hero
Yes, Any Guitar Hero controller will work with any Rock Band game.
yes you can i hung out with my bud and we played rock band 2 with the guitar hero world tour guitar with the game. by Matthew jac schwalbe.
Rock Band is supposed to have a better song list while Guitar Hero has a more realistic experience. It pretty much depends on what you want.
In Guitar Hero World Tour, you can use the guitar and mic from rock band to play. just not the drumset. But anything before world tour, that would be a no.
Yes, but not the drums (but a guitar hero drums will work on a rock band game)
If Guitar Hero World Tour is on PS2 then yes. If it is for a different game system then no.
Sadly they don't. BUT the controller for rock band does work on:- guitar hero areosmith. guitar hero world tour guitar hero metallia Or any other band games. ALSO The guitar hero III guitar works on the rock band game, because It's a later release.
Oh, definitely Guitar Hero. But Rockband is much better than Guitar Hero because you can have a bass player and a drummer jam with you, which you can't do in Guitar Hero. Oh yeah, i agree Guitar Hero On Tour is way better than The Sims 2 Castaway. With Rock Band, I think it is cool, but I don't like the way it is set up and the songs on guitar are too easy. Also Rock Band doesn't have a game for the Nintendo ds! Also, I wouldn't waste your money on Rock Band because a better one is coming out in October, Guitar Hero World Tour! It has everything Rock Band has (microphone, guitar, bass guitar, and drums), but in the guitar hero style, and definitely going to have more improvements and be even better than Rock Band. So save your money for that! -- I messed around with Rock Band in the store. I don't think I want one of the "rock and roll star" games; I play drums and when I tried playing the basic drum part in the song, it totally freaked the game out.
Rock Band is compatible with most game controllers, including the Guitar Hero: World Tour mic. and guitar. However, since the GH: WT drum set has cymbals, I don't believe that it will be compatible with Rock Band.
Guitar Hero uses only a guitar as the game controller, whereas, Rock Band introduces not only a guitar but drums and vocals as their controllers.
