It is according to the position you are better at, or which the coach might believe is better for you and the team, and offcourse what you like.

Wing : position on the right or left side. a common tactic is to cross the ball to a central team-mate Sweeper: type of centre back who "sweeps up" the ball. compare to full back. this position is more free and sometime build the counter attack move.

there is a goalie, then in front of him/her theres a sweeper and in front of the sweeper are the fullbacks(or the defense) and theres a center, left, and right fullback. then in front of the fullbacks are the mid-fielders and you can either be right, left, or center mid-field . and then in front of the mids there are the forwards(or the strikers) and there is usually a center, oeft, and right fforward . hope that helps!

Goaly, Sweeper, Right and Left defense, Stopper, Center mid field, Right and Left mid field, then two Forwards. This is the answer to a 11 on 11 soccer game (for the big and professional soccer fields).Goaly, Sweeper, Right and Left defense, Center mid field, Right and Left mid field, then a Forward. This is the answer to an 8 on 8 soccer game (for the little and small fields).A goaly is the person in the goal. A sweeper is the last person (farthest person back on the both teams fields besides the goaly). A right and left defender is exactly as it sounds. A stopper is the player in front of the defenders but behind the mid fielders. A center mid fielder is the player in front of all the defenders and the rest is exactly as it sounds. A right and left mid fielder is exactly as it sounds. A Forward is the player farthest up on the field. If in the definition section a definition is in bold writing then those players are on defense. If in thedefinition section a definition is in italic writing then those players are on mid field (a sort of defense and offenseposition). If in the definition section a definition is in regular writing then those player(s) are on offense.

Left defence is not not a position in soccer. There are left full backs, left backs, left wing backs, left centre backs. And their job is to defend lol though some teams like their left/right backs (and wing backs) to run down the wings and get crosses in to the strikers so wing backs have to be fast ideally for that role
