An asteroid is more dense because asteroids are made of solid rock, rather than a comet is made dust and ice particles which can break apart easily.

A comet is faster than an asteroid and more dangerous.

That would depend on the asteroid, and on the comet. We don't know a whole lot about the structure of either; we've landed one space probe on an asteroid, and collided a refrigerator-sized impactor into a comet, but there are millions of each and we don't know if they are all similar. I suspect that they are not. So the proper answer is "We don't know - yet."

No. For one thing, Halley's comet is a comet, not an asteroid. The largest asteroid is Ceres, which is far larger than Halley's comet.

A comet is made of ice an asteroid is rock

An asteroids orbit is often in an asteroid belt where as a comet is able to change its course when it approaches a planet. An asteroid can not do this. Scientists usually refer to this as an asteroid, not a comet. It's the asteroid that caused the Chicxulub crater.

No. Pluto is classified as a dwarf planet. In terms of composition Pluto is more like a comet than an asteroid.

No. Haumea is a dwarf planet and in terms of composition is more similar to a comet.

the asteroid belt is safe for now long as there ere rouge comets comet comet clos to the belt

An asteroid, because the orbits of the asteroids are nearer to the earth than the comets.

9P/Tempel or Tempel 1 is a comet, not an asteroid.

The asteroid belt is not very dense, so traveling through it is not a problem. It is far more difficult to meet an asteroid.

An asteroid-sized chunk of rock with a tail would be a comet.

A comet is a cloud of dust and an asteroid is a solid rock.

No. An asteroid is an object made of rock and/or metal. A comet is made largely of ice.

It depends on the different sizes there are.

ether or there is no set size

Most comets are beyond the asteroid belt. However, a comet with a visible tail is generally within the asteroid belt. These comets have highly elliptical orbits that take them within the asteroid belt at the closest and well beyond it at the farthest.

Yes. A comet or asteroid can break up to form a chunk of rock called a meteoroid.

In Japan, the superstitions that are related to comet and asteroid is that it is death calling. People therefore are usually afraid to see the comets and asteroids.
