On basis of strength it would be armaldo however cradily has killer defense.
Technically this is based completely on opinion however there are ways to tell by your style Cradily- Cradily learns more strategic moves like giga drain and ingrain stuff like that to make the battle last long but in your favor Armaldo-Armaldo is more of your powerhouse Pokemon this thing can be pretty vicious with the a solid power move. I prefer Armaldo myself
The fossil Pokemon available in Pokemon Emerald include Anorith, revived from the Claw Fossil, and Lileep, revived from the Root Fossil.
No. Cradily only evolves from Lileep at level 40.
cradily can not be cough he can only be found in rute 111 in the sand tower, you have to take the fossal at the top to a scientist in rustboro in the castle a the back and he will turn it back into lilpy which then evoles into cradily
You can't capture cradily to get one find the root fossil and give it to one of the scientists in the Devon corp in rustboro city the scientist will turn it into lileep train lileep to level 40 to get cradily.

anorith,armaldo,lileep or cradily(from fossils)
metagross, armaldo, claydoll, skarmory, cradily, aggron.
Steven will have a Skarmory, Claydol, Cradily, Armaldo, Aggron and Metagross. Check Bulbapedia for more details :-)
Metagross, Armaldo, Skarmory, Cradily, Aggron, Claydol.
Skarmory: 77 Claydol: 75 Metagross: 78 Armaldo: 76 Cradily: 76 Aggron: 76
Lilleep comes from it, which evolves into a Cradily. The other fossil has an Anorith, which evolves into an Armaldo. Good luck, Trainer!
Because the game is very, very unfair. But, you can always trade the one from the fossil you dont choose from another game?
to get the fossils of Cradily and Armaldo (i forgot the unevolved names) you can find them in the top-right corner in the desert north of mauville. *you need Go-Goggles for this*
Steven's Pokémon are a level 77 Skarmory, a level 75 Claydol, level 76 Cradily, Armaldo and Aggron and a level 78 Metagross.
The claw fossil holds anorith, which evolves into Armaldo at level 40. Armaldo is more of a speed/attack pokemon but, a downfall to this pokemon is that its type is rock/bug, so it has many weaknesses. The root fossil hold Lileep, which evolves into Cradily at level 40. Cradily is more of a defence type of pokemon. This pokemons type is rock/grass. since there isnt that many amazing grass types in Sapphire(other then bellosom,Sceptile, and vileplume) this would also be a considerable choice. The main basis for whichever one you pick is entirely up to your battle style. You should base it off of your team, Armaldo is a sweeper and Cradily is an annoyer/possible tank.
You bring it to the place in Rustburo where you get exp. share on the 2nd floor talk to the guy behind is computer. Come back later and he will give you your new pokemon. I suggest the claw, you get anorith which evolves into armaldo. the other is lileep, with turns into cradily. go with armaldo.
