What is the best harvest moon game?

For me, it really depends upon the person. One may choose to have a Harvest Moon in different game players or emulator. If I will be asked, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town has the best story of all, but talking to graphics, nds Harvest Moon games are cool.

In my opinion, Harvest Moon Animal Parade is the best yet. A selection of two boys and girls to choose from as your avatar, and a variety of all sorts of outfits, accessories and jewelry. Also, From Tree of Tranquility to Animal Parade, there are three new characters. The Witch Princess, the Wizard, and the Harvest King. All three of them are eligible for marriage. Animal Parade also opens you up to new contests and holidays. There's the Animal Race, Fashion Contest, Timed Fishing Contest and many more additions. Holidays are such as the Summer Festival and Moon Festival. Not to mention that on your birthday, if you do not have a lover yet, your most reliable friends throw you a surprise party. The quest for the five bells is also very on edge and intriguing. And the most helpful thing is that the Harvest Goddess is always accessible if you need help. You also do not need to consult the Gamer's Manual to note the Bachelors' and Bachelorettes' favorite things. Now you can go to your friends list and simply push the minus button on your Wii remote to get information on anyone in the game, including the Harvest Goddess, King and Sprites. Information such as birthday, likes and dislikes, dwellings and lifestyle.

B: In all Harvest Moon games you raise families and grow crops and care for animals so those three factors do not set Island of Happiness apart from the others. I also have the game, and yes, I find it very fun. There are many entertaining festivals and heart sceens as well as interesting island folk. However, the game can get a little boring during the very begining and in the winter were nothing grows at all.

However the short answer is, yes. Basically all Harvest Moon games are good in their own way.

But it is all opinionated. Some people like them and others don't.

For GameCube probly: A wonderful life or another wonderful life

DS/GBA: Sunshine Island if you like 3D or Island or Happiness if you don't

PSP: The futuristic one (Or the new Sugar Village one. Remake of HM:STHL)

Wii: Hands down the new Animal parade game

It's really about about what you prefer and your opinion about what you like. Personally out of all the Harvest moon games I've played I really liked More Friends of Mineral Town and out of the games that are a spin off of Harvest moon was Rune Factory Frontier.

In my opinion, it would be Tale of two Towns. This is because the game has many features that other DS version games do not, such as the ability to move from town to town, and focus solely on farming or solely on animal husbandry. Also, there are more interactions with wild animals.
