The Baroque music style followed the Renaissance style, and was haracterised by more complex use of harmony and rhythm than had been previously seen. It was typically harder to perform than Renaissance music as it was written more for virtuoso singers and instrumentalists.
Composers of the Baroque period include Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Friedrich Händel and Johann Pachelbel.
