The U.S. Treasury building is featured on the back of the $10 bill.
John A. Macdonald was featured on the Canadian $10 bill in 1898. His image was included on the banknote as part of Canada's early currency design. Subsequent versions of the $10 bill have also featured his portrait, reflecting his significant role in Canadian history as the country's first Prime Minister.
In 1862, the $5 bill featured a portrait of Salmon P. Chase, who was the Secretary of the Treasury at the time. The design was part of the Demand Notes issued during the Civil War. Chase's image would later continue on the $10 bill after the introduction of the National Bank Notes.
No such person exists. Rather, Alexander Hamilton was the first secretary of the treasury of the US. And he is featured on the modern $10 bill.
