LiCl (aq) is a mixture of a compound and water. The LiCl can be separated from the water. All the other choices are compounds: LiCl (s), NH3 (g), NH3 (L).
substance
A compound is a molecule that fits this description. Water is such a compound and is a good example.
All Physical substances are made up of matter. Everything is made of matter except for energy.
That is officially known as a chemical change. It is distinct from a physical change which does not alter a substance into a different substance.
Different kinds of matter that become mixed together completely are called solutions. Solutions can not be separated from each other.
substance
All around us are substances that are made of matter. Matter has mass and occupies some space. Different kinds of substances are made up of different matter. Matter can be thus classified in many ways. Two basic classifications of matter are based on its physical and chemical properties. The physical classification of matter shows its physical appearance that describe the shape, hardness, softness, melting and boiling points. The chemical classification of matter shows the ability of matter to change its composition to form new substances. The different kinds of matter are gases, liquids, solids, and plasmas.

Matter is a pure substance if it can only be separated by chemical means, NOT physical means. This could be a compound or an element. The opposite is a mixture which can be separated/broken into smaller parts by physical means.
A mixture, such as pizza or soft drink, is a material made up of two or more subtances that can be easily separated by physical means, but a substance has a fixed composition, it cannot be separated by physical means.

Most types of matter yes... There are only a handful of elementary substances (the periodic table). Most visible matter is contained in stars etc which are a mix too, so 'most' meaning by mass, I would also say true.

Anything larger than a single atom. Compounds -- that is, substances chemically made from more than one species of atom -- can be chemically separated into their elemental parts. H2O can be seperated by electricity into H2 and O2. 2(H2O) + charge --> 2H2+O2
