When the number of electrons and protons in an atom isn't equal, you have an ion. Protons don't really get transferred, so electrons are probably the answer you're looking for.

What subatomic particles are involved in ions?

Ions have more or less electrons than a neutral atom.

The chemical properties of atom ions and molecules are related to the arrangement of the?

Subatomic particles.

Which subatomic particle is involved in chemical bonds?

Electrons are either transferred between atoms to form ionic bonds or shared between atoms to form covalent bonds. Either way, bonds are formed through electrons.

What subatomic particles are related to ions?

Protons and neutrons with no electrons are an-ions. Electron superior atoms are considered Cat-ions. So all depending on what is superior with-in the atom.

Ions form when what is transferred between atoms?

Electrons

Describe the difference between ionic and covalent bonds?

In a covalent bond electrons are shared between atoms. In an ionic bond electrons are transferred from one atom to another, resulting in oppositely charged ions.

Are there two types of subatomic particles called electrons and ions in the nucleus?

No, the particles in the nucleus are called protons (positively charged) and neutrons (neutral or no charge) and are made of quarks

In what form can a Ionic compound conduct electricty?

In aqueous form, the ionic compounds dissolve into there separate ions, and the charge can be transferred between the ions
