While I don't have exact figures, I'd imagine the Firebird was the quicker. It's a lighter car. It also depends on rear end gears, tranny, etc.

it depends what gto u have,and what firebird u have,the only thing these cars shared was engine and trans types,firebirds were unibody,gtos are full frame.other than the drivetrain they are totally different cars.
