Ra was the ancient Egyptian sun god. He had many forms, although was mainly known to have the head of a falcon and the body of a human.

He was the king of the Egyptian gods and they believed that he brought them into extanstance (?). He fought many wars with his evil brother Seth, who was the god of the underworld.

Ra is a sun god. It is said that every night Ra sailed in the sky to be the sun for the day. He had to pass through 12 gates before rising into the sky and becoming the sun. If there wasn't Ra there was no light, therefore Egyptians worshipped him.

Re is the sun god or the main god the egyptians worshiped. they built the pyramids to praise Re. When you look at the sun the rays form a tringular shape that's y the pyramids are triangular.
