Are burgers protein?
Beef contains a reasonably large amount of protein. So yes, burgers contain protein. Burgers are not the best way to consume protein for a number of reasons. Beef is extremely high in fat overall, and also high in saturated fat. As a result, ounce for ounce, there's much less protein in beef than in lean turkey, chicken or fish. The saturated fat is also not going to do your heart a favor. The enriched wheat flour bun provides empty calories and possibly contains trans-fats, again, not a good choice.

Who invented the first internal combustion engine?
In 1859 a Belgian engineer Jean Joseph Étienne Lenoir developed the first internal combustion engine. It was a single-cylinder two-stroke engine which burnt a mixture of coal gas and air ignited by a spark-ignition system. He patented it in 1860. Nicolaus Otto invented a gas motor engine in 1876. He built the first practical four-stroke internal combustion engine, called the "Otto Cycle Engine", and built it into a motorcycle. Otto's patent was later revoked when it was contested by Beau de Rochas.

Why do lights stay on when motor off and doors locked in my 2004 Toyota 4 runner?
Good question but not enough information. Which lights? Inside lights? Headlights? dash lights? Door lights? All have their own areas. If it is the door lights then look at the switch in the door. Could be broken or loose. If it is the headlights then the relay for the lights is probably stuck, tap it with a spoon and see if anything happens. If not check it with a meter. Any other light I would suspect a faulty wiring or switch going on. Without specifics it would be hard to diagnose.

What kind of guys do girls like?
Girls like guys who are confident, truly nice guys... Each person has there own particular taste to whom they are most fond of. Depending on the guy, it's always different what type of girls they like. But most commonly, they appreciate confident, bubbly, funny, down-to-earth, and friendly/nice girls. Be mysterious! Always be yourself and be original. Ubove, is probably not very acurate. You see, I'm a girl, and I've hung out with guys and heard the type of guys my fellow girls like. If a girl is in gymnastics, or swim team, you know, stuff like that, she'll probably like guys that are tall, and their grades are acceptable, but not the best, like B- or Bs and stuff or even C+ If a girl is basicly the average girl, you know, not popular, not unpopular, she'll probably like the guys that have good manners and get good grades, but are not afraid to socialize. If the girl is smart, popular, all that stuff, she'll probably like confident, B+ graders, lots of friends, jokester, rebel away from school but not dangerous in a black jacket type of guy. The popular guy. If you want a girl to like you, first, find a girl you like, then think about her, get to know her, and I mean REALLY know her, not just watch her from across the hall, but maybe hang out with her crowd, you know, popular girl, hang with the popular guys. If no one is like her, she hangs out with different people every day, that stuff, shes not ordinary, trust me, TRUST ME, hang out with her, become her friends, whatever you do EXPRESS YOUR PERSONALITY whether it;s through jokes or through some deep stuff, she will like you! How do I know, I'm that type of girl! I like the guys who are socializing, creative, have good manners, but challenge me with things in my area of expertise (flicking gogo crazy bones, writing stories, and figuring out who would be richer in the fantasy world...). Now if only I could get advice like that...guys reading this, please helo me...
Can American GameCubes play European GameCube games?
When was soccer invented and who invented it?
Soccer is short for association football. Football has existed for as long as men have kicked or fought over a ball but there were was no agreed set of rules. The game was adopted by English Public Schools but they couldn't play against each other because they all played to different rules. A group of English schools and clubs came together on 26th October 1863 to agree common rules. They formed the Football Association and the game of soccer was formed. The laws of the game were written under the leadership of Ebenezer Cobb Morley.
What are magazine papers made of?
What is a Delphi unit?
A Delphi unit is a separate file used to store procedures and functions. If you know what a form is, a unit is exactly the same, except it has no visual interface. So you can't put windows controls on it like buttons and edit boxes. A form has windows controls and their associated code behind them, a unit only has the code. They are useful if you have some functions that you use often from many different forms and you only want to write them once. For example: function LeftStr(const S : String; Index : Integer) : String; begin If Index <= 0 then Result := '' else Result := Copy(S, 1, Index); end; function RightStr(const S : String; Index : Integer) : String; begin If Index > Length(S) then Result := '' else Result := Copy(S, Index, (Length(S)-Index+1)); end; Then you can have your unit's name in a forms uses clause and then use the functions LeftStr and RightStr from several different forms.

Do insulin-dependent diabetics ever inject themselves with glucagon or cortisol?
Glucagon, yes. Cortisol, probably not. Glucagon raises blood sugar. Many type one diabetics own glucagon injectors, so that when their blood sugar goes too low they (or someone with them) can inject them with glucagon. Cortisol does raise blood sugar, but it is not used to raise blood sugar. It's used to treat many other diseases, but not the low blood sugar which type 1 diabetics sometimes get.
Where is the water pump located on a 1987 Mazda B2200 pickup Truck?
It is behind the timing cover just behind the crankshaft pulley that runs the ac,ps,and fan/alternator belt.In short to replace this requires removing the timing belt. This takes about 3 hours or more to do this replacement.I assume you have a leak dripping antifreeze just below the crankshaft or a cooling or heating issue.I have done this job and unless your mechanically inclined take it to a shop for this service.Note it is a good idea to replace the timing belt, and tensioner when do the water pump.

Was September 11 the cause of Iraq war?
No there has never been a credible link made between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda. The 9/11 attacks where carried out by Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda and the majority of the hijackers, 15 of the 19 came from Saudi Arabia, none where Iraq citizens. Even George Bush said that in 2003: "No, we've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with September the 11th," Bush said. You can read the quote at http://www.seattlepi.com/national/140133_bushiraq18.html and http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3119676.stm. Here is a quote from George Tenet: On April 29, 2007, former Director of Central Intelligence George Tenet said on 60 Minutes, "We could never verify that there was any Iraqi authority, direction and control, complicity with al-Qaeda for 9/11 or any operational act against America, period." You can read the entire interview at http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/2007/04/30/snow/index.html. In fact Saddam Hussein never really liked al-Qaeda and the relationship was never overly positive. The official report of the 9/11 commissions says "Bin Ladin was also willing to explore possibilities for cooperation with Iraq, even though Iraq's dictator, Saddam Hussein, had never had an Islamist agenda---save for his opportunistic pose as a defender of the faithful against "Crusaders" during the Gulf War of 1991. Moreover, Bin Ladin had in fact been sponsoring anti-Saddam Islamists in Iraqi Kurdistan, and sought to attract them into his Islamic army." The full report is at http://www.gpoaccess.gov/911/pdf/fullreport.pdf. I think when George Bush and his Director of Central Intelligence George Tenet say there was no link and they were the man that decided to invade Iraq I think it is safe to say there is no link.
What does seeing somebody mean?
based on my experience! I believe that in all relative terms if a male says that he is "seeing somebody" that means that he is with someone but it really isn't permanent and may be looking elsewhere. At the same time due to the way that some people hold there moral value it could be just that the person is just saying no or that they are no longer "available" for daiting.
Is Baja part of Mexico or California or both?

Before becoming a state in 1953, Baja was known as the North Territory of Baja California. Right now it is conformed by two federal states: Baja California (Capital: Mexicali) and Baja California Sur (Capital: La Paz). Baja California is both the northernmost and westernmost state of Mexico.
Asked in Oral Health and Dental Care
How deep do fillings normally go?
Just beyond the decay. A dentist removes the decay and then fills. so it depends on how deep the decay is. Yes, just beyond the decay. So it depends on how deep the decay/cavity is. If the decay is too deep and goes all the way to the center or Pulp Chamber (nerve) then usually a root canal will be necessary. Once a root canal has been done the tooth is more fragile and probably needs a crown to hold it together (expensive)....especially if it is a back tooth because the back teeth bear the most burden and chewing force, they often need to be reinforced with a crown after a root canal. Moral of the story? Get your teeth checked regularly so that you can fix cavities with small fillings before any of this root canal business will be necessary. And don't forget to floss because most decay happens in between the back teeth.
Why have GRUB and LILO stayed so popular across all major - nix distros distributions?
GRUB and LILO are easy to configure. With them, you can easily boot multiple operating systems from the same menu on the same computer. To triple boot OS/2, Windows 98, and Windows XP, each operating system needs it's own bootloader, and to manage them all, you need to either install a bootloader that can load them all (Smart Boot Manager, Gujin, GAG, etc...), or mess around with boot sectors. With LILO and GRUB, to boot a compatible *nix system, all it takes is editing a simple text file specifying what partition the operating system's kernel is on, and the name of the kernel, or just chainload to a disk or partition to handle the various Windoze flavors, or other proprietary bootloaders. Short answer - because they work, and in the 'nix world if it ain't broke. . . But the new kid on the block - Grub 2 - isn't just an incremental upgrade, quite different in several fundamental ways - most of them IMO improvements. Give a recent Debian-based distro (Ubuntu, Mint) a whirl to check it out and get yourself ready for the future!
