St. Augustine - said to be the greatest philosophical influence on Christianity. Believed in the "creation ex nihilo" theory (creation out of nothing). Was a skeptic, which led to deep thought on matters. Hypatia of Alexandria (female) St. Thomas Aquinas - his philosophies were deemed the "official" ones of Christianity by Pope Leo XIII You should look up these three farther. They are the most important, in addition to St. Paul, who had the greatest contribution to the Christian contritions. Soren Kierkegaard Plotinus and the teachings of neoplatonism (revised philosophy of Plato) heavily influenced St. Augustine, which was one of Christianity's great theologians
"Who are key contributors to Christianity's impact on philosophy?" Hopefully, I understand your question correctly. The grestest contributors who heavily influence Christianity's system of thought are Catholic's and Orthodox Christians. You're getting boring :-( Give me something I can really dig my teeth into. Later for the kids stuff. Best wishes St. Augustine of Hippo and Constantine the Great.. Things would be better (my own opinion) if St. Pelagius (Pelagianism) had his way.
I think you might have better luck if you rephrased the question like this; What is the Historical development, Key Contributors, and principle issues of analytic philosophy I do not have the answer to the historical development part, but some key players were Bertrand Russell, Gottlob Frege, and Ludwig Wittenstein. An example of a pricnciple issue of analytic philosophy would be logicism, and realism. It seems to me anayltic philosophy had a lot to do with language and the meaning of words. Frege, and Russell alike liked to apply this to mathematics saying that the language in mathematics can be broken down to logic. I don't know all of them by a long shot, but one prominent Christian philosopher was C.S. Lewis. He also wrote a lot of other work, both fiction and non-fiction. His writing is excellent, and even some of his fiction has Christian philosophy thrown in in an interesting way. One of these, _Till We Have Faces_, is a story of a woman who writes a complaint to the Gods... and the story of her life and the answer that the Gods give. :) Another fictional work, _The Great Divorce_ talks about people who take a bus ride from Hell to look at Heaven and see if they want to go there. :) I recommend his work highly.
