When a male is courting a female, he will follow her closely, biting at her pectoral disc. Stingrays bear live young in "litters" of five to thirteen. The femaleholds the embryos in the womb without a placenta. Instead, the embryos absorb nutrients from a yolk sac, and after the sac is depleted, the… mother provides uterine "milk". ( Full Answer )
Stingrays use their tail which contains poisonous venom. They usethis as a defense against enemies around them which tend to behammerhead sharks and humans.
they move by flapping their "wings" or "fins".. Rays spend much of their time lying motionless on the seafloor or riverbed. Their tails are in many instances vestigial and in certain species non-existent. Although stingray and skate pectoral fins are attached along their entire basal length, their …outer margins are highly flexible. This flexibility allows them to roll their pectoral fins through the water either backwards or forwards. The ray is then propelled backward or forward on this pressure wave. At full speed this movement is accentuated from a fin ripple into a flapping motion. The Eagle, Manta and Mobula rays employ this flapping motion all the time. Electric rays, guitarfish, and sawfish, have retained more "shark like" streamlined bodies. They use tail propulsion for forward momentum and often use their pectoral fins to stand above the substrate. This stance probably allows them to accelerate forward more quickly. Electric rays also have the ability to hop forward on their pelvic fins. ( Full Answer )

Stingrays don't usually 'attack' people, but since they are bottom dwellers and can live in very shallow water, they somet…imes are stepped on. As your question comes under the heading of The Bible, I take it that your question is referring to the enemies of the Bible. Satan and his followers would be the first on the list. Then I would say those who re write the bible as they think it should be written. Perhaps those who purposly left out …certain books of the bible when it was first compiled. Last that I can think of would be those who have read it, prayed about it and yet still believe that it is not the word of God and openly say so. ( Full Answer )

first, why is this sorted in health? Also, when stingrays are on the ground they're only about an inch tall but, their eyes which are towards the center of the stingray add another 2 inches.
The flattened bodies of stingrays allow them to effectively conceal themselves in their environment. Stingrays do this by agitating the sand and hiding beneath it. Because their eyes are on top of their bodies and their mouths on the undersides, stingrays cannot see their prey; instead, they use sme…ll and electro-receptors similar to those of sharks. Stingrays feed primarily on mollusks , crustaceans , and occasionally on small fish. Some stingrays' mouths contain two powerful, shell-crushing plates, while other species only have sucking mouthparts. Stingrays settle on the bottom while feeding, often leaving only their eyes and tail visible. Coral reefs are favorite feeding grounds and are usually shared with sharks during high tide. The best immediate treatment is to apply heat to the wounded area. Stingray venom is protein-based, so applying heat will decrease the pain and, to some extent, deactivate the venom. Use the hottest water the victim can stand, or any other source of heat that is available. The heat should be maintai…ned as long as the wound is extremely painful or until the victim is delivered into the hands of medical personnel. If the victim experiences only minor bleeding and no symptoms beyond the normal pain associated with a stingray sting, then when the heat has done its job (which you can check by simply removing the heat from the affected area briefly), apply antibiotic ointment and a bandage. If the bleeding is significant or the victim badly lacerated, the injury should be treated by a medical professional. If the victim experiences any symptoms other than pain and bleeding (for example hives, muscle cramping, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, etc.), then there may be an allergic reaction to the venom. This can be a life-threatening emergency and the victim should be transported to a medical facility immediately. ( Full Answer )
