∙ 12y agoFriar Lawrence. Well, yes, he's the priest they expect to perform the ceremony. But he's not the intended bridegroom (I guess not--he's a Catholic priest!). Capulet wants Friar Lawrence to marry Juliet . . . to the County Paris.
