If you want to unload an item quickly, you can try your local baseball card shop. Otherwise, an experienced eBay seller can sell most autographed baseballs on eBay and get respectable money for the item's value. You can have your money within 10 days; or sooner if you find a seller willing to buy the item outright.

However, if your baseball is of higher value, say more than $600-800, you may want to consider a more experienced and reputable sports collectible auction house, such as Goldin, Heritage, SCP, Legendary, etc. They will sell the item on commission; including it in their full-color preview catalogs they send to registered bidders. They get heavy exposure with big-time buyers and help realize higher prices.

Remember that without verifiable provenance, you may need to have your autographed item authenticated by a third party. Without a certificate of authenticity ("COA"), you may not get near what the item is worth. Obtaining a COA will cost money and lengthen the sale process; however, it is worth it for most higher valuable items.
