What happens if you are on misdemeanor probation and travel outside the country but then come back?

This will depend on several things. First, did you get permission from your probation officer? If so, provided you adhered to the terms of the permission to travel outside the country, you are fine. If not, keep reading. Second, were you caught traveling outside the country while on probation? If not, you got lucky and will probably not have anything happen to you, unless someone finds out about it and notifies your probation officer. If you didn't have permission to travel outside the country while on probation and you get caught, you could be punished by anything from an extension of your probation to having your probation revoked and being put in jail for the original conviction.

Can you travel to Puerto Rico with a misdemeanor?

It depends on where you are coming from. If you are travelling from elsewhere within the US, a misdemeanor will not prohibit travel (unless you are on active probation or parole with travel restrictions.) If you are travelling from another country, you will need to check with your embassy in the US to find out if your conviction will prohibit entry into the US.

Can you leave the country if you are on probation for a punishment lower than a misdemeanor?

That would depend on the conditions you must follow according to the terms of your parole/probation you entered into for whatever reason. If your parole/probation agreement said that you were not to leave the country, then it would be a violation of the agreement if you were to do so. They could violate/terminate the parole/probation and file charge(s) against you for violating the parole/probation agreement. Your best bet is to contact your assigned parole/probation officer and get a written statement (signed) from them with the determination of whether you can leave the country without violating your parole/probation agreement. Written proof is the best way to cover your neck, just in case they say you left without first asking them, if it was all right to leave the country without violating your parole/probation agreement.

Can you travel to a foreign country after a DUI?

Can you live in a foreign country while you are in probation?

Possibly. It depends which country you were tried and sentenced in. First you have to get permission from the Court that sentanced you to probation originally -- usually with recommendation of the probation office which is managing your case.

If you were born in a country and want to be in the military do you have to fight for your country or can you fight for a different country?

Some nations accept men of foreign citizenship into their military. The US does; the French still have a Foreign Legion. It would depend on the rules and laws of the different country you propose to join.

Can you leave the country while on summary probation?

How can someone find out if Pennsylavania extradites for violation of probation?

generally yes, pennsylvania will extradite for almost all crimes except fines owed to a district justice office, if you were on probation and abscondered, they may however if it is for a misdemeanor and you are on the other side of the country ie california and your fines are paid off they may not, because it is not worth it, but if it is for a felony you are guaranteed to be extradited! if it is in the county where philadelphia is they may not if it is for a misdemeanor, you should have someone call the county ask if the charge is extraditable, tell them you wanna help the person take care of it and ask them what they will do, usually if you turn yourself in and this will work out in your favor
