Your question assumes that "Native Americans " were one group of people instead of the millions who were part of different tribes and it assumes that all were against the colonists. In fact, in Pennsylvania William Penn had a peace agreement and in the revolution some tribes helped the British, others helped the colonies, and there were tribes that remained neutral.
