NOT in their temples!! They had then, sure enough, but only priests, priestesses, noblemen and noblewomen could actually go insige them. Worship was mainly kept at home, though celebrations took place out side the temple, usually followed by some form of animal (an ox, goose or goat depending on which god/godess was being worshipped) being sacrificed.
