She was accused with sleeping with over 100 men! In reality Anne Boleyn was probably innocent and was faithful to Henry. Her 'contact' with men after marriage probably didn't get past flirtation.

Anne Boleyn (c1501-07 to 1536) the second wife of Henry VIII (1491 - 1547), was crowned Queen on 15 June 1533. On the 7th September the same year, she gave birth to her first child, Elizabeth, (later to become Elizabeth I), which upset Henry as he was determined the baby would be a boy. Over the next few years, Anne had at least two miscarriages, thus dashing Henry's hopes of a male heir. When he tired of her and already had his eye on another lady at Court (Jane Seymour), usefully for Henry, trumped up charges were brought against Anne of incest, adultery, witchcraft and treason. Courtiers friendly with Anne: William Brereton, Sir Henry Norris, Sir Francis Weston and Mark Smeaton her musician, were all implicated in the alleged adultery. Even Anne's brother, George Boleyn, was accused of incest with her. Anne was found guilty and sentenced to death, as were the five men accused with her.

She was beheaded at the Tower of London, on 19 May 1536, going bravely to her death and executed by an expert French swordsman who Henry had ordered, to give her a quick and more merciful execution. Anne was buried in the church of St. Peter ad Vincula, at the Tower. Her grave was originally unmarked, but during Victorian renovations her remains were identified and there is now a marker over her resting place.

She allegedly committed adultery with:

Mark Smeaton (a musician - the only one to confess, possibly under torture)

George Boleyn (her own brother)

Henry Norris (a courtier close to the King)

Sir Francis Weston

William Brereton

These five men were condemned along with Anne herself.

Sir Thomas Wyatt the poet was also accused, as was Sir Richard Page, but the charges were dropped for the both of them.

She was accused of adultery, but there is no direct evidence that she actually committed adultery. The men accused of being her lovers were tortured to extract confessions from them.
