Who died one month before the end of World War 2?
Many people died a month before the fighting ended. There was,
after all, still a lot of fighting going on, and in areas where
there were not battles or armies, people were still dying from
murders, accidents, illness, and age.
Perhaps the most famous person to die at that time was Franklin
D. Roosevelt, who died in April of 1945. Germany surrendered in
May, ending the war in Europe. The Pacific war continued for
another three months.
