in Jesus Christ who died on a cross to save the whole world from their sin
John 3:16
They believe Jesus Christ is savior and the son of God, unlike the Jews who believe in God but not Jesus.
They believe that a savior from heaven named Jesus Christ was given from God in the form of a child that grew to be a man. and while he was a man he performed miracles, and declared he was the son of god. The religious people during his time didn't belive him so they wanted to kill him. God told Jesus that he should die on the cross for what the people have done wrong so that if they belived in him (Jesus, God and the holy spirit) that they could live in heaven if they admitted the bad things they had done were wrong. So he was hung upon a cross and that he died and was put in a tomb. But he came back to life. And was taken to heaven with god. Christians belive that Jesus is the Savior!
Born again Christians believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is not only their savior but also Lord, since He is also the almighty creator.
+++ Yes, but with respect you've really not answered the question. All Christians believe in Jesus and the Holy Trinity, and in God (not Jesus) as the almighty creator, by definition; so what's the difference between a Christian and a "Born-again Christian"?
++++ Born again Christians believe in the God of The Bible and Jesus is the Son of God and He died as a sacrifice for sin.
The term born again comes from the passage in John where Nicodemus comes at night to talk to Jesus and Jesus tells Him
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Born again Christians believe that here Jesus is talking about a spiritual rebirth. The Bible says that all people born since the disobedience and consequential spiritual death of the first man and woman, are born spiritually dead.
Ephesians 2:1 In the past you were spiritually dead because of your disobedience and sins.
1 Colossians 15:21,22 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
Romans 5:14 But from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, death ruled over all human beings, even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam did when he disobeyed God's command. Adam was a figure of the one who was to come.
1Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
A person becomes born again when a person believes that Jesus is the son of God and that he died as a sacrifice for sin.
John 20:31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
God gives that person His Holy Spirit and the person is spiritually reborn. In the book of Ephesians this is called 'sealed' and is a sign the person belongs to God:
Ephesians 1:13, 14 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
The born again believer now has the choice of obeying/walking in the Spirit.
That depends upon the denomination/church. All are said to believe Jesus Christ.
christians believe that is was around g-d.
