Who found and first settle in Greenland?
This would be the Vikings. The Vikings were a group of European tribes from the Scandinavian areas of Europe. They accidentally stumbled upon North America while sailing around the island of Greenland in 986AD. They visited briefly but, as far as we know, they did not settle there. At least no archaeological remains of Vikings have been found in North America at this time.

Very short variety of wildlife is found in Greenland. The animals which are found in Greenland are- POLAR BEARS REINDEERS HUSKIES MUSK OX SNOW LEOPARD etc...... Well in Greenland there are whales,wild ox,seals and reindeer. There is also moskus, shrimps, crabs and all kinds of sea food. Other than this there is also polar bears and eagle.

That same year Bjarni Herjolfson, who was following Ericson to Greenland, missed the island and sailed in a south-westerly direction and sighted both the Labrador coast and Newfoundland.
