Galileo Galilei in 1610
Galileo discovered the 4 moons of jupiter through a telescope which he never invented but was the first to use.
The first person who made the first telescope was Hans Lippershey, A dutch man who made spectacles. And the person who discovered 4 moons of Jupiter was Galileo.
He invented the telescope and discovered the four moons of Jupiter
Hans Lippershey invented the telescope, but Galileo Galilei improved it for astronamy. Galileo was the one who discovered four moons of Jupiter, The names of the moons are Io, Europa, Callisto and Ganymede. Although Jupiter has over 60 moons those are the first 4 identified because hey are the largest.
I don't know who invented the first telescope, but I do know that Galileo Galilei discovered the 4 moons. That's why they're called te Galileian Moons (I hope that's how you spell it).
The first objects in space to be discovered by telescope were the four largest moons of Jupiter.
Galileo Galilei invented the first telescope. Don't know the other one though. Sorry .
Jupiter has the Galilean moons. So called because they were the first moons of Jupiter, discovered by Galileo using the new telescope.
Galileo Galilei discovered the four largest moons of Jupiter (there are more than four). They're still referred to as the "Galilean moons" to distinguish them from the other smaller moons of Jupiter and they can be easily seen in even a fairly modest telescope.
Gallileo discovered that jupiter has four moons
yes he used it when he discovered all the moons of jupiter
The moons of Jupiter and Saturn.
gallileo discovered it No. Galileo discovered the four largest moons of Jupiter which are named after him (the Galileans) with his telescope. The planet Jupiter itself is easily visible without a telescope and has been known to astronomers around the world since ancient times.
On January 7, 1610, Galileo was using a homemade telescope and discovered four moons around the planet Jupiter. Galileo was educated at the University of Pisa from 1581-1585.
With a telescope
Galileo Galilei of Italy invented it in 1610. Shortly thereafter he discovered the craters and mountains of the moon, the 4 largest moons of Jupiter (still called the "Galilean moons"), and the rings of Saturn.
Galileo was the first to look at the planet Jupiter through a telescope, and to observe the moons of Jupiter (the 4 largest moons are still known as the Galilean moons).
Jupiter has a whole lot of moons including four big ones discovered by Galileo in the 16th century. He was the first one to use a telescope to study Jupiter. Other than those four, all the others are small and were discovered when spacecraft were sent to Jupiter in the 1970s.
The first person who invented the telescope was Galileo and he used it to observe sunspots, the phases of Venus , Earth's moon , the Galilean moons of Jupiter and supernova
He discovered the four largest moons of Jupiter, the Earth revolving around the Sun instead of the Sun revolving around the Earth. He also invented the telescope.
As much as I'm tempted, I'm afraid I can't take credit for those accomplishments. They were both the work of Galileo Galilei.
1) He invented the telescope 2) He discovered the moons of Jupiter, he rings of Saturn, the mondgebirge, the sunspots 3) i don't know
Only Jupiter, the Galilean moons are the four largest moons of Jupiter which Galileo discovered. The four satellites discovered by Galileo orbit Jupiter.
I think when the telescope was invented, I think people use it to look at other planets. Even moons.
