The fact that Matthew and Luke do not agree as to the name of Joseph's father means that they really did not even have this information. Matthew says that Joseph's father was called Jacob, while Luke says Heli. The Bible does not talk about Joseph's mother.
Other considerations:There were 12 different Joseph's in the Bible.
I believe the question may be in reference to the first notable one was Joseph, the son of Jacob and Rachel.

∙ 12y agoThere are two Salomes mentioned in the Bible.
1. Some feel that comparing Matthew 27:56 with Mark 15:40 shows that Salome was the mother of the the apostles James and John("the Sons of Zebedee"), and John 19:25 seems to indicate that she was also Mary's(Jesus' mother) sister. Salome's mother is not mentioned.
2. Salome, who danced in the court of Harod and had John the Baptizer killed, was the daughter of Harod Philip and Herodias(Matthew 14:1-11+Mark 6:17-28). Her name is not mentioned in the Bible, but historian Josephus recorded it in his writings.
