What is Filthcat is lost?
THE ONLY ANSWER"Filthcat is LOST" is the fourth album to be released by Chicago hip hop artist Filthcat. It has been slated for release throughout the year of 2007 and now is expected to be released in the winter of 2007-2008. Much of this album is not known, however more information is coming out as it gets closer to the release date. What is known about the CD is that it will feature production from College Ruled Productions, a production team located in Cincinnati, OH and the only featured guest is Detroit rapper Galaxy. Industrial music lovers will enjoy the song produced by Richard Bell of the industrial group The PQ Sessions, entilted "Suck On This (Put It On Me)". Filthcat has reportedly released four of the supposed 11 tracks on myspace. The tracks can be found on his myspace page (www.myspace.com/filthcat). Filthcat will be starting his LOST tour starting in mid September 2007 and is expected to perform songs off of the new album to promote. Based off of the songs i have heard either from leaks or myspace here is how i would each track indivudally from 1-10. ALL YALL BOUNCE - 8 (EXCELLENT BEAT)ACT UP (MONKEY SH**) - 6 (TYPICAL PARTY TRACK)BOSS WALK - 9 (THE BEST SONG I HEARD OFF THE CD SO FAR)PANTIES ON THE FLOOR 6 (I THINK I THIS STRIPPER SONG IDEA IS STUPID SO BLAME ME FOR BEING BIAS A LITTLE BUT GOOD BEAT NONE THE LESS)on the PQ Sessions page you can hear "SUCK ON THIS (PUT IT ON ME) which i gave a 8 for all around originality plus the production is slammin.Some leaked songs I've heard have been FLY and SHE GETS ME HIGHI pretty sure SHE GETS ME HIGH will not be on the CD since it features Lenny Kravitz on the hook and LOST reportedly has only one featured guest. But the song none the less is a 10 for sure i love the creativity and Filthcat does soemthing with his rap style that is very unique. FLY is possibly the most conscience savvy and backpack rappish. I heard one verse where FILTHCAT states "Aint it funny how ni***s hated whips and chains now all a ni*** want is some whips and chains..." Something to think about. I think the CD will be impressive, i have heard previous Filthcat material and i have rarely been disappointed. According to Filthcat's publicist, "this will be Filth's best CD AS OF NOW, "LOST" is a definite party CD and is meant for the audience to have a good time while listening to it, like how music used to be".Filthcat is reportedly working on other solo projects one called the TI**Y MIXTAPE and another called "Green". Green dupposedly features Kermit the Frog and Lenny Kravitz. These two albums have not been slated for released yet but sources say look for the TI**Y MIXTAPE before "LOST" and look for "Green" around March 2008.
