The King Spain is the Head of State. That is his person represents the country to the world. He does not have any administrative authority. The Queen is quite simply, his wife. The Pope is the Spiritual Leader of all Roman Catholics in the world. He is also the man in charge of the entire apparatus of the world wide Roman Catholic Church. He has much more power than any monarch.
