Plato or Socrates
Plato was a widely known philosopher in ancient Greek times. His mentor was another well known man that went by Socrates. Plato specialized in math and science and it is said he helped lay the groundwork for what we know it as today.
Friedrich Nietzsche said that art is the imitation truth.
I suppose that any Greek philosopher did not say so.
In times like these, I often think of what Aristotle said about Plato. What did he say? He said, "if you take the lid off, it will get dry". (play-dough vs. plato, get it?) Knock Knock Who's there? Euripedes Euripedes who? You rippa dese jeans, so ya gotta pay for them Greek philosopher- What are you doing in Greece? Roman soldier- We're just Roman around.
This was a concept espoused by the Greek philosopher Plato. Plato believed that men had to be enlightened to rule, just as sailors needed to know the sea, or physicians needed to understand medicine.
