Well...the play is called ANNIE, so Annie is THE lead. But actually, Ms. Hannigan is a pretty close second! In fact, if she is played well, Ms. Hannigan can steal the show. Ms. Hannigan's actor not only has to have a fabulous voice, but she also needs to be super funny! The best actor/singer in the cast should have the role of Ms. Hannigan. So to sum it up, Annie is the lead, but the most talented actress should get Ms. Hannigan.
