∙ 13y agoJoshua. Moses was supposed to, but the people balked because a lack of faith. After Moses death, Joshua led the people into the promised land. Read more in the book of Joshua.
Moses was not allowed to enter the promised land because he disobeyed God's command to him. He struck a rock to bring forth water when God told him to speak to it.

On the other hand, most modern historians say there was no Exodus from Egypt as portrayed in the Bible, and no unified conquest of the Canaanite cities. The say they Israelites were actually Canaaites themselves, who migrated peacefully away from the region of the rich coastal cities into the hitherto sparsely populated hinterland.
