No one led the Janaza prayer of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). The body of the prophet (SAW) lay in the small room of Hazrat Ayesha RAU where the Prophet SAW had passed away. A few of the Companions entered the room and offered Janaza prayer in turns. The body lay buried in that small room with his two nearest Companions-Hazrat Abu Bakr RAU and Hazrat Umar RAU.

These were the following people who washed and buried the Prophet. Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (He was the first to offer the prayer). Abbas ibn Abdul Muttalib Fadhl ibn Abbas Qathm ibn Abbas Usama bin Zayd bin Haritha Aus bin Khuli Ansari Nama-e-janaza was offered by many people, who ever was comming was offering prayers Hazrat Ali a.s offered janaza prayer of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) and Hazrat Abubakar,Hazrat Umar n Hazrat Usman escaped from Muhammad's Janaza(Funeral) just to occupy the Khilafa(Calipate)That's the reason Shia Muslims don't give any respect to Abu Bakar,Umar n Usman n they give the best place to Hazrat Ali cause he remain loyal n faithfull to Rasool Ullah even after his Death(Vasal). Sunnis lie about Janaza of Prophet cause they know very well that their beloved sahabah Abubakar,Umar n Usman escaped from janazah of Muhammad(PBUH) just to get khilafah of Muslims.
When a Muslim dies, his dead body is washed, cleaned properly. It is clad in white sheets of cloth. It is taken to the graveyard. Janaza prayer is offered by many of the Muslim men. It is devoutly prayed to Allah Almighty to forgive the dead Muslim. Then the body is buried in the grave. Ones again prayer for forgiveness is offered.
After about ten days, the Prophet moved from Quba mounted on the back of a camel. Ansars and Muhajirs followed him. On the way he stopped for Juma - Friday congregational prayers. From that day, Juma prayer has become a regular weekly worship in Islam.
The funeral prayer in Islam is called janaza. The body of the deceased must be washed and prepared for burial and buried shortly after death.

The first Four Caliphs are Called the Rightful (Rashidoon) Caliphs. They were in order of seniority: Hazrat Abubakr who died his natural death. Hazrat Umar was assasinated in the Majid i - Nabwi when he came to lead the Fajr prayer. Hazrat Usman was assasinated by the rebels. Hazrat Ali was also assinated while he came to lead the Fajr prayer. In fact, the first four Caliphs didn't keep any body guard.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) died on 12th Rabee' al-Awwal 11 AH, after the sun had passed its zenith, and he was buried on the Tuesday night, after all the people of Madeenah had offered the funeral prayer for him, as Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: Some people came in and said takbeer and offered the (funeral) prayer and said du'aa', then they left; then others came in and said takbeer and offered the (funeral) prayer and said du'aa', then they left, until all the people had come in. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi in al-Shamaa'il (p. 338) and classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in his review.
Hazrat Bilaal (as) was the Mo'azzin at the time of Rasoolullaah (saws). Mo'azzin is the one who gives Azaan or the call to the prayer / Namaaz. When Rasoolullaah (saws) migrated from Makkaah to Madina, Hazrat Bilaal (as) was the first who was commanded to give Azaan in the mosque of Madina.
