# Who or what is the Hexagone?

The word "hexagone" is the French word for "hexagon" - a 2-dimensional, 6-sided shape.

The French Armed Forces in Paris have their headquarters in a building called the Hexagone Balard so a Fench reference to The Hexagone" might be a reference to French armed forces headquarters in Paris, much the way "the Pentagon" refers to US Armed forces headquarters near Washington DC.

The word "hexagone" (French for "hexagon") is sometimes used to
refer to the French territory because the borders of the French

### How do you write a Lewis dot structure for morpholine?

O(CH2)4NH
you have to draw the O at the top of the ring with its two lone
pairs, then on both sides is a C with two branching Hs and then
continued around the hexagone like structure until you get to the
bottom where you put an N with two lone pairs and a H branching off
of it.
Cant really draw it on here, but hope that helps!

### What is the nickname of France?

France has 3 different nicknames :
- The country of the Human Rights : link to the french
revolution and the declaration of Human Rights (cf The American
Bill of rights as the Original source of Idea)
- L hexagone (geometric form with 6 sides) : That s the
geographic representation of the country ( French people speaks
about the 4 corners of Hegagone (Sic !))
- Marianne : More a nickname for The French Republic. She's
representating the Democraty and the people s power against the
establishement of the Kings.
Now she s still a Symbol of the Human Rights.
Voila , I hope it s more clear now ;)
Of course There's others Nickname but less famous or I didn t

### How many diagonals are there in a decagon?

A decagon has 35 diagonals. A Nonagon has 27 diagonals. An
Octagon has 20 diagonals. A Heptagon has 14 diagonals. A Hexagon
has 9 diagonals. A Pentagon has 5 Diagonals. A Square has 2
Diagonals. A triangle has 0 Diagonals.
Do you get the point?
0+2+3+4+7+8. Starting with the triangle.
you don't need to start with the triangle because it is 0
diagonals and will not count when you add it up anyways. And don't
call it a square, call it a quadrilateral.
Shut up
------
-Imagine a hexagone
-There are two vertices at the top which make a horizontal
line
- Opposite them there are 2 vertices on the bottom which we can
draw straight lines to
therefore
-There would have been 6 connections per point, but we
eliminated 3
(n-3)
--
-The connections occur for every vertex in the shape
therefore
n(n-3)
--
We don't want to draw the same connections twice once we get
around to vertices on the opposite side of the shape
therefore
n/2(n-3)
where n is the number of faces
This may be applied to many if not all polygons. A Decagon has
36 sides not 35...
There are 35 diagonals in a 10 sided decagon
