There are positives and negatives to both genders. That being said, this is a loaded question without a definitive answer.

Sons for the most part tend to make easier children, as they get more entertainment from their surroundings. Males are more absorbed with hands on activities, as where females enjoy more social based activities. Not to say that there aren't exceptions to this of course.

Girls usually develope faster than boys on the other side of the coin. Many parents with children of both genders experience earlier milestones with the girls, ie- alert observation, talking, walking, potty training, ect... Boys however odd as this may seem, tend to be sweeter children! Primarily in the department of interaction with peers. Yes, little girls can be very bossy, and prissy. This is usually attributed to the earlier development of speech. They have no problem telling a little boy what toys they can and can not play with, even when the toys aren't theirs.

As they grow, these earlier differences begin to fade away as the boys play catch up. This is when boys seem favorable. Statistically, male children lie and steal less than female children. However, males do in fact end up in the emergency room more than females due to rough and tumble activities.

One clear pattern as your children age, is that a daughter tends to stay closer to her family than a son will. Sons often times spend time with their spouses immediate family, in lieu of their own maternal family. Not because they are more attached to the spouses family, but because she is.

A son can pass on the family name, but a daughter will make sure you see your grandchildren.

So there you have it. Good and bad from both genders, and as previously stated, there are exceptions to all of these traits. Good luck with your babies! Be they boys or girls.

Your daughter is pregnant and 16 her boyfriend is 17 and he does not work and lives at home would his parents then be responsible for paying the child support for their grandchild?

Yes they can be. I have a case now of the parents of a 12 year old boy will have to pay child support for the child currently being carried by an 18 year old girl. Though she will go to jail, her parents will have the child while she serves time and they will be awarded the child support. The greater concern her is whether this is best for the child? I hope you are speaking to both of them about the option of adoption.
