The President signs a bill into law after it has been voted on by both the House and Senate. The President does have the option to veto the bill or refuse to sign it.
Thhousands of bills are introduced to Congress each year, but only a small percentage actually become law. One statistic found 13,882 pieces of legislation started the process, with only 354 making it all the way through to becoming law. That is only 2.5%. So the likelyhood of a bill completing its journey is very slim.
the president of the united states of america.. that is so true
When he left college and wasnt able to pay bills for his home with his doctorate in law so he turned to his interest in politics
Legislation - In Canada laws are made at the federal level by Parliament and at the provincial levels by the provincial legislatures. There is a process involved which carries what is called a Bill (or a proposed law) into force when it receives Royal Assent, or on a day specified in the legislation, or upon proclamation. Common Law - Law is also created in Canada, and throughout out the common law countries of the world, by judges. Common law is judge made law. When a judge makes a decision in a case, it becomes a binding precedent which other judges must follow if faced with the same issue. However, the law, as with most things, changes in time too. So, what is law today could change tomorrow, or next week, or in 20 years, etc.. Therefore, in Canada, the elected officials make law (legislation, or written laws), and judges make law (common law).
All senators meet in the Senate's chamber and discuss new bills that have been introduced, they debate on whether to approve the bill (this can be a really long time). They approve bills that are proposed before they go on to congress and the president so it can become a law.

No way! Why would your parents have to pay your bills? There is no law that says they have to take over your bills in case of death. No such law exists. Why would you think so? No way! so that a crappy, pointless bill will not become a crappy, pointless law. ;)
Sister. Obvious in the real world, so the question does not arise. The question makes an interesting riddle, though.
i really don think so..... as v have not studied law so how can v become a LAWeyer?? In California, you only have to pass the bar to become an attorney. I have a friend who did it by reading law books on her own.
Senate bills are scheduled through a series of legislations. One must pass law before a session can be set. In order to do so, it must be constitutional.
