This is not known. Three separate criminal investigations after the war all failed to find enough evidence to arrest anyone for the betrayal.
No one really knows for sure, someone told the Nazis about their hiding place. I think :)
The Morning the Franks left, they left there door open and their room a mess so it looked like they had been captured by the Nazis. They actually were hiding in Amsterdam in a secret room. The door to the room was a bookshelf and they had to be quiet during the day. The door was dead bolted, but someone found out they were there, they told the Nazis, and The Franks were caught.
the Germans was trying to kill all the Jews but most of the Jews went into hiding like anne frank.....but anne frank got grassed on (someone told the Nazis) where they was HOPE THIS HELPS :) the Nazis were the party under the power of Adolf Hitler at the time. Hitler believed that the Jewish community were the cause of all the problems in the world and therefore wanted to get rid of them. due to this, he imprisoned them, along with poles, people with disabilities and others, and sent them all to concentration camps, where they were either gassed in gas chambers or worked and starved to death. some Jews tryed to escape the camps by going into hiding, but most were found out and sent there anyway
Like many Jews who were in hiding, the Frank family hoped to avoid being captured by the Nazis, since that would mean certain death. They hoped they would survive the war and that the Nazis would be defeated. Sadly, someone betrayed the family, and told the Nazis where the Franks were being hidden. In August 1944, Anne, her sister, and her mother were shipped to concentration camps, where they died. Otto was also sent to a concentration camp but somehow managed to survive until Russian troops liberated him and other prisoners. But he was the only member of the family who made it out alive.
No he told them "TO WORRY" and that the Nazis are going to kill them all but they thought he was crazy ~Daffy~

No, there is no evidence to suggest that Margot Frank told on her family. The Frank family, including Margot, were discovered by the Nazis who were searching for Jews in hiding during World War II.
Anne Frank is so important because she is like an influence. She was the youngest one to hide in an attic at 13. She cheered up the people in the attice with her. Anne got a diary that her dad got her. he told her to write everything they do. Anne also had some firends that were Jewish and were killed. Anne and everybody with her stayed in the attic for 2 years. Every time they heard any noise coming up the stairs, they turn the light off, hide, and be quiet. one time, some Nazis came looking for Jews. The attic dooar was disguised as a book shelf. And so the Nazis left. Then, after years of being in there, somebody told the Nazis where they were. they went to the place. Anne took her time to have her time and like put her diary there. And off to the concentration camp. Her dad survived it and lived after world war 2. Lonely. And so He read Annes diary. The diary became a book and a movie.

I have no insulation in my attic and have been told that I might be able to get a grant towards the cost of getting it done. Where could I find out more about this?

Simply, because they were not told. They were told other things. The Nazis used propaganda, a tactic governments often use to get support from their people by not telling them the truth.

michelle parker is hiding. my dad told me. he is a friend of hers.
For true Nazis 'follow-the-leader' was the highest virtue. "Fuhrer command! We will follow [obey]", they screamed ecstatically at him, and they followed him all the way to the bottom of the abyss.
They told them they where having a shower and the they gased them all.
Anne Frank and her family, along with the other residents of the annex, were captured by the Nazi authorities during a raid on the building they were hiding in. The occupants were betrayed, and the Nazis discovered their hiding place, leading to their arrest and eventual deportation to concentration camps.
