The Bible doesn't actually say. It was probably Roman soldiers. It could have been Joseph of Arimathea, as he took His body for burial.
Knowing the custom, I doubt the Roman soldiers would have let anyone take Him down from the cross except themselves, to be sure that He was truly dead.

∙ 12y agoAccording to John 19:38 and Mark 15:46 Joseph of Arimathaea removed the body of Jesus from the cross and wrapped him in the buriel cloth. He was then placed in the tomb that belonged to Joseph.
