The 31st President of the United States was Herbert Hoover from

March 4, 1929 to March 4, 1933. His Vice President was Charles

Curtis.

Charles Curtis was Herbert Hoover's running mate both times that

he ran for President. He was U.S. Vice President from the 4th of

March 1929 until the 3rd of March 1933. At the time he was the

oldest sitting Vice President in U.S. history. On the 1st of

January 1951 Alben Barkley became the oldest sitting Vice President

in U.S. history, bumping Curtis down to #2, and on the 27th of

December 2015 Joe Biden is expected to become the 2nd-oldest

sitting U.S. Vice President, bumping Curtis down to #3.
