The Mad Hatter is not necessarily a "bad guy" in Alice in Wonderland. He is portrayed as eccentric and unpredictable, often causing chaos and confusion with his behavior and riddles. However, his intentions are not inherently malicious, just peculiar and disconnected from typical social norms.

Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland doesn't have a villain. The plot is episodic - Alice moves through a series of essentially unconnected events - there is no one antagonist against whom she must struggle, or who she must defeat.

She meets some moderately unpleasant people on her adventures, the Queen of Hearts being the most noticeable The Queen of Hearts is the nearest that the book has to a villain, as she is a key actor in the climactic scene at the trial, where her order to execute Alice is one of the main causes of Alice's rebellion and the chaos and eventual resolution that her rebellion brings about.

There are no 'good guys' and 'bad guys' in Alice in Wonderland, there are just 'guys'. In this respect, the book is oddly more like real life than most fiction - the people we meet are neither bad nor good, they are just people.

The Hatter is just one example of the dramatically neutral characters Alice meets. Alice finds him interesting but annoying, and friendly but rather rude. He neither wishes nor causes her any harm, but neither does he wish nor cause her any good.

It is possible to interpret his character as adhering to the trickster archetype.

The Dodo is believed to represent Lewis Carroll.

This is supported by the fact that Carroll gave a copy of an Alice book to his friend Robinson Duckworth signed, "To the Duck from the Dodo."

Duckworth was with Carroll and the Liddell girls on the rowing trip where Alice's adventures were first told, and the part of the story where all the creatures get soaking wet is believed to refer to an event on a previous rowing trip the five of them took.

It is claimed that, owing to his stammer, Carroll would pronounce his real name 'Do-Do-Dodgson'.

The lead is absorbed by the skin and over a long time it affects the human nervous system. What is Alice in Wonderland REALLY about?

What Alice in Wonderland is really about is a question which provokes a great deal of debate. There is a school of thought which believes the entire story is a metaphor for drugs and drug use; the principal evidence for this being the Caterpillar's hookah, and the mushroom on which he is sitting - the consumption of which causes the distortion of Alice's body, which could be compared to the visual effects of hallucinogenic drugs. The behaviour of some of the characters is also sometimes explained in terms of drug use; both the Caterpillar's and the Dormouse's languor might be attributable to marijuana or some form of opiate, and it has been suggested that the White Rabbit's rushing around is caused by, or is symbolic of cocaine. LSD is also frequently mentioned in relation to Alice in Wonderland, as the colourful, confusing and distorted nature of Wonderland seems comparable to an acid trip. It can be categorically stated however, that Alice in Wonderland has nothing whatsoever to do with either cocaine or LSD, as cocaine had only been recently invented at the time the book was written and had not begun to be used even in a medicinal context, and LSD wasn't invented til decades later in the mid twentieth century. Marijuana, opiates and hallucinogenic mushrooms however, were both available and legal when the book was written, so may have had some influence on the story. Most critics and scholars eschew the claims of a connection between Alice in Wonderland and drugs, believing the book to be what it appears, an innocent tale written for the amusement of children. Unlike other writers associated with recreational drug use - Samuel Taylor Coleridge for example - there is no evidence that Lewis Carroll either took or was even interested in the effects of narcotics, and as he was a conservative mathematician and Anglican deacon, find it hard to reconcile his character with that of the archetypal rock 'n' roll drugs fiend. There is no real evidence that Alice in Wonderland is about drugs, but similarly there is no proof that it isn't, and so, the debate seems destined to carry on. Alice in Wonderland is indeed about drugs. My teacher believes its about drugs to. I mean following the white rabbit, eating mushrooms, shrinking, it's all hallucinations. Disney just messed with it and made it seem like its not about drugs. "Alice in Wonderland is a perfect, down-to-earth example of childhood through adolescence. Just as a child's life is filled with good and bad choices, hers is too. As most do, Alice learns from her experiences and ultimately becomes more mature. Alice in Wonderland has many connections to how one grows and develops from childhood up through adolescence. Alice matures emotionally by how she thinks, how she deals with her problems, and how she perceives different situations, all of which are encompassed in the progression of a child."

Is Cheshire Cat like us humans?

The Cheshire Cat is niether good nor evil. There are no 'good guys' and 'bad guys' in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - there are just 'guys'One of the interesting things about the Alice books is that, even though it takes place is a fantasy world populated by extraordinary creatures, the 'poeple' Alice meets are far more like real people than those seen in the majority of fiction, in that they are not bad or good, they are just people (just like in real life.)

Can you tell the story of Alice's Adventure in Wonderland in five sentences?

5 sentences is too short. This is 10: Alice is sitting outdoors when she spies a White Rabbit with a pocket watch who and she follows the rabbit down the hole. She finds herself in a long hallway full of doors, and then uses a key on the table to unlock a tiny door, which she struggles to get through. She comes across a Caterpillar sitting on a mushroom who gives her some valuable advice, as well as a valuable tool: the two sides of the mushroom, which can make Alice grow larger and smaller as she wishes, and she uses them to get herself down to normal proportions and continues her trek through the woods. Alice goes to the March Hare's house, where she is treated to a Mad Tea Party, with the March Hare, the Hatter, and the Dormouse. Ever since Time stopped working for the Hatter, it has always been six o'clock; it is therefore always teatime - this means that the creatures of the Mad Tea Party are some of the must argumentative in all of Wonderland. She finds herself in the garden of the Queen of Hearts where three gardeners (with bodies shaped like playing cards) are painting the roses red - this is because if the Queen finds out that they planted white roses, she'll have them beheaded, and so Alice helps to hide them in a large flowerpot. The Queen invites Alice to play croquet, which is a very difficult game in Wonderland, as the balls and mallets are live animals. Later the Queen takes Alice to the Gryphon, who in turn takes Alice to the Mock Turtle; the Gryphon and the Mock Turtle tell Alice bizarre stories about their school under the sea. The Mock Turtles sings a melancholy song about turtle soup, and soon afterward the Gryphon drags Alice off to see the trial of the Knave of Hearts. The Knave of Hearts has been accused of stealing the tarts of the Queen of Hearts, but the evidence against him is very bad, and Alice is appalled by the ridiculous proceedings, so ahe is called to the witness stand. She refuses to be intimidated by the bad logic of the court and the bluster of the King and Queen of Hearts. Suddenly, the cards all rise up and attack her, and she wakes up, and realises her adventures in Wonderland have all been a fantastic dream.

In Lego batman is hush good or evil?

Hush is one of the bad guys! After just 1 bank robbery with The Mad Hatter, Hush gave up. Hush might be one of the good guys! But, the Hush in the video game is like he would of been on that robbery (or if he'd of carried on robbing with The Mad Hatter ,or by himself). So even though hush did turn from a baddie to a goodie, in the game he is evil!

Mad.

Why did Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland get a bad review?

Critics have differing opinions on nearly everything, but most of the complaints about Alice in Wonderland are a disjointed script/story. Several critics have commented on the stunning quality of the visual effects but also noted that the film is "forgettable". Also some scenes in the movie were quite peculiar and could not be understood which also made critics hesitant to give the film a good review.
