Who was Matthias in The Bible?

Thaddaeus was one of the twelve apostles chosen by Jesus. He was also called Judas, the son of James. See Acts and the Gospels.

Matthias was the new apostle chosen to replace Judas Iscariot.He was chosen ahead of Barnabas who gifted materially and financially to help the apostles with the spread of the gospel.He was however,stoned at Jerusalem and later on beheaded.
