Nathaniel Turner (a.k.a. Nat Turner) was born on October
2, 1800. He was born in Southampton County, Virginia. Nathaniel was
born a slave. He was an Abolitionist, a person who advocated or
supported abolition of slavery in the United States.
Nathaniel was an idol to most african american slaves all
around the southern country of America. Nathaniel was called the
"Black Spartacus" because of his heroic justice upon
slavery. He was a very strong activist upon slavery. He also led a
rebellion against slavery.
