Who was Mexico leader in 1821?

Agustin DE Iturbide (1783-1824) was such leader. He had the last Viceroy sign the Declaration of Independence, and the treaties of Cordoba, and became Mexico's first Emperor, his remains are in Mexico City Cathedral. By the way the last Viceroy was Irish, John O donuhue.

1. Venustiano Carranza (Aug 1914 - May 1920)
2. Adolfo de la Huerta (interim, May - Nov 1920)
3. Alvaro Obregon (Dec 1920 - Nov 1924)

Venustiano Carranza was assassinated on May 20, 1920 and Adolfo de la Huerta took over as interim president for the following six months, until elections were made. Then Alvaro Obregon became the new elected president of Mexico on December 1, 1920.
