No witches were hanged in Salem, only Puritans accused of witchcraft.
The infamous Salem Witch Trails (in colonial Massachusetts) were held between February 1692 and May 1693, and were not one single event.
It is recorded that as a result of the hearings, 20 people (both men and women) were put to death, 19 by hanging and one being crushed by a large boulder (no one was burned at the stake). In total 28 people were condemned to death, with 8 being reprieved or having their sentences commuted.
The sentences were carried out as follows:
10 June 1692 (1)
Bridget Bishop (hanging)
19 June 1692 (5)
Sarah Good (hanging)
Rebecca Nurse (hanging)
Susannah Martin (hanging)
Elizabeth Howe (hanging)
Sarah Wildes (hanging)

Another answer:
This is a trick question. No one was burned at the stake in Salem, Massachusetts. Most of those convicted of witchcraft were hanged.

∙ 9y agoThe Salem witch "hysteria" - started by the strange behavior and deadly accusations of two young girls in 1692 - eventually led to the deaths of over 2 dozen people. 19 were hanged, 1 died two days after having been "pressed" under a stack of stones and at least 5 more passed away in prison. Some 150 suffered in jail, and even more still (at least 200 by historical record) stood accused of witchcraft, although they fortunately escaped punishment.
Wikipedia has a fairly comprehensive list of the names of all those accused or confessed (and whether they were pardoned, released or executed). Those listed as executed for their supposed "crime" are listed here

∙ 12y agoThere may be too many to name every one, but this list from the University of Virginia includes the names and dates of accusations for most that are known. It came from a very reputable book on the Salem Witch Trials called "Salem Posessed" by Paul Boyer and Steven Nissenbaum:
EDIT:
There's actually a very easy number to name. NONE. There were no witches in Salem. The correct termonology is "Accused"

19 people were hanged in the Salem Witch Trials and 1 (an old man) was killed by "pressing" because he refused a trial.
Obviously, the Salem Witch Trials tried a very different crime. But, other than that, the Salem Trials were very much like a normal civil trial today.
