Lamech is mentioned in Genesis chapter 4. It is recorded that he had two wives and he killed a man in self defense.
Also in Genesis chapter 5 there is another Lamech mentioned. He was the son of Methuselah and the father of Noah
Lemech
Lemech (not "Lamech") died five years before the Flood.
Jehovah "set up a sign for Cain" to prevent his being killed, but the record does not say that this sign or mark was placed on Cain's person in any way. The "sign" likely consisted of God's solemn decree itself, known and observed by others.(Genesis 4:10-15)
According to Acts of the Apostles, Stephen performed many miracles and converted many of the Jews, although nothing is known about him outside the Acts of the Apostles. After Stephen was arrested for preaching to the Jews, he was brought before the Sanhedrin and asked to explain himself. Chapter 7 of Acts tells us his supposed defence, but portrays Stephen as making no attempt to defend himself or even talk about his Christian faith as later martyrs are said to have done. He merely began an elementary lecture on Jewish history, based on the Old Testament lineage of the Jews, down from the legendary Abraham to Moses.
In the Bible, Noah was the son of Lamech. Apocryphal literature which is not accepted in the biblical canon has the story that Lamech raised him but noah was not his biological son. Noah was the son of the "Gods". The story told is that Lamech came home one day and saw a child that didnt belong. He asked his wife who the child was and the wife told him the child was Lamech's. Lamech was outraged. His wife pleaded saying it was his son and not one of the sons of "Gods" that the child was a son of man. Lamech went to his father to ask for help. His father than asked Enoch what his son should do about this mysterious child. Enoch told him he should name his Noah and keep him as his own for one day he will be choosen.
