No- he was an American Colonial silversmith and early industrialist who alerted the Colonial forces to the approach of British forces prior to the Battles of Lexington and Concord, as describes in Henry Longfellow's poem 'Paul Rever's Ride'. But he was never a British PM- he died in Boston, Massachusetts on 10th May 1818 at the age of 83.

The Germans informed the British Prime Minister that they were going to get back the land and Germaqn populations they lost in the Treaty of Versailles at the end of WW1. The British agreed. The Germans believed them. The morale: never beleive an Englishman.
Ghamberlain, the British Prime minister, returned to UK with a 'piece of paper' which said Hitler had no more European countries on his list after the Sudetenland. Oh dear ! Czechoslovakia would be invaded & then came Poland. Simply Hitler was not a man of his word !
