APHRODITE was the first God/Goddess... First there was Gaia (the earth). She gave birth to Ouranos (the sky). Ouranos and Gaia are not considered gods. They than gave birth to the Titans and other beasts. The youngest and most acknoledged of the titans was Cronus, (father of Zeus, Poseidon and Hades) Cronus killed (Ouranos) with a sickle whose blood trickled into the ocean landing off the coast of Cyprus. Ouranos' blood mixed with the seafoam and that's how Aphrodite came to be (this event was before Zeus, Poseidon or Hades were born). Hades was the first born of the brothers.
