No one killed him, he fell off a wall and splattered onto the pavement or the gravel or whatever he fell on. He became a scrambled egg.
R.I.P Humpty, The Giant Egg
Humpty Dumpty was a cannon, not a person.
Clearly Humpty was murdered and it was me who suspected it first. The proof is in the rhyme.
First - the rhyme says that Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
I ask you - what sort of egg would engage in such risk taking activities. True, maybe Humpty was an egg with a low risk aversion. But can we discount that maybe Humpty was convinced to get up on the wall in the first place.
Second - Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
What!! One minute he is just sitting and the next he fell. The rhyme doesn't say Humpty Dumpty was clowning around on the wall. Or Humpty Dumpty was jumping on the wall. Just that he was sitting. Doesn't it seem more likely that he was pushed??
Finally - All the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put Humpty together again.
Who the hell tries to put an egg together with horses?? Clearly this was an assassination ordered by the king because of what Humpty knew. The real question is WHAT DID HUMPTY KNOW???
In the nursery rhyme, it is never specified who killed Humpty Dumpty. The rhyme simply states that all the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
he is not real.
