James Bond is a well-known fictional English secret agent conceived by Ian Fleming, the author of the James Bond novels. Ian Fleming wrote fourteen Bond novels from 1953until 1964. Unfortunately, Fleming died before all of his stories could be published. The two James Bond books that were published after Fleming's death were The Man With The Golden gun and Octopussy and The Living Daylights (a collection of short stories). The character of James Bond is perhaps better known for his roles in the motion pictures from 1962 until the present day. There have been twenty-two Bond films and there is a twenty-third due for release in either November 2010 or 2011. James Bond has been played by six different actors so far, these actors include; Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and the current James Bond; Daniel Craig.
