It was Mark Pfetzer who went up with a guy named Ray Dorr and his leader Henry Todd on a trek to the top of Everest in '96. He survived the tragedy (storm) at the top. Scott Fischer and Rob Hall did die though. He was 16 when he climbed Everest and he's American. He has climbed other mountains including, Cotopaxi in Ecuador, Rainier in Washington, Huascaran in Peru, Aconcagua (the largest mountain in the Americas) in Argentina, Ama Dablam in Nepal, Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (he was assistant guide), and cho oyu in Nepal. His dad survived cancer when pfetzer climbed Everest in '96. Pfetzer is now a police officer, though.
American mountaineer Jordan Romero in 2010 at 13 years and 10 months of age. It is unlikely to be beaten as both China and Tibet no longer issue licences to would be Everest climbers who are under 16 years old.
The youngest person to reach the summit of Mount Everest is Jordon Romero from USA, he was just 13 years old when he stood on the top of the world on the 22nd May 2010.
This is what I am trying to figure out. All I could find was "small coastal town" in the North East area. I want to find out which state.Rhode Island. His book mentioned he lives hear Pawtucket.
sherpas climb mountains. sherpa, tenzing norgay helped sir Edmund hillary get to the top of Everest with him. they were the first to summit. because of generations of living at high altitudes, they have developed a genetic, natural allowance for it. you won't see them sweating and panting on the 50th day of a non stop hike like you would see someone who wasn;t a sherpa doing!!
Mount Everest didn't exist 65 million years ago when the last non-bird dinosaurs died out. In fact, the rocks that make it up were under water at the time.
Unless you consider birds "dinosaurs" (this makes some sense from a cladistic standpoint, but then "climb" doesn't seem to be the right word), no. Mount Everest didn't exist 65 million years ago when the last (non-bird) dinosaurs died out.
Your question does not make sense. If it was non-living how can it live on Mount Everest?
The first non-Japanese to climb it, was Lady Fanny Parkes
