Jesus had 12 disciples (also called apostles) and there names were: Simon Peter, Andrew, James the son of Zebedee, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, Judas the son of James and Judas Iscariot. This is taken from Luke 6: 12-16. After Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus and hung himself, Matthias was chosen to replace him. (Acts 1:26)
