Poem for Darfur Genocide:

I am scared and hungry.

I wonder why this killing is going around.

I hear the screams of the victims crying for help.

I see the little children's face wondering what is happening, while running from one place to another.

I want to help save thousands of victims of Darfur.

I am the one who stands up among everybody.

　

　

I wonder why is all of this happening.

I pretend to act brave and not scared, but deep I am afraid.

I feel the whistling wind fly into my face like a little wave of water, I am scared wondering if we will ever be saved.

I touch the victims that have that have suffered from

this mass murder.

I worry that everyone around is suffering and I am the only one left, I stand alone.

I cry from the memories of my family that has left me, and died.

I wonder who will save us.

　

　

I understand that I may die, but I will not give up.

I say that this is all just a dream, but it's not, I know it.

I dream that everyone will stop buying oil from Sudan, then the government will stop this big mess.

I try to encourage others to help me, but no one stands up, no one cares.

I hope we are saved. I hope we are helped, this was all a big mess, now it needs to end.

I am worried, that we may never be saved.
